Shakespeare Redesign
Book cover design
In this cover design, I aimed to illustrate the intense passion and tragedy shown in the relationship between romeo and juliet without directly illustrating two people in love. I illustrated this image of a tower breaking a part in two with a foundation still intact, giving the impression that even though the tower was struck by tragic lightening, it can never take away the core of their relationship, which was viewed as intense passion
Romeo and Juliet
Othello & Iago
In the process of creating this image, I wanted to illustrate a relationship where one side is more trusting than the other and ends up getting trapped and the realization only comes when it’s too late. As shown in the relationship between Othello and Iago.
Macbeth and Lady Macbeth
In this cover, I wanted to illustrate a relationship of manipulation and tragic consequence. As I was researching this relationship, the phrase “don’t cry over spilt milk” kept crossing my mind and of course I had to add the crown as a symbol of the mad king.
